IT Freedom's Complete Freedom™ Network service package is designed to provide your business the comprehensive services of a complete IT department, so that you can escape the unpredictable cost and near-sighted focus of hourly break-fix services, as well as the high cost and technical limitations of most in-house network administrators. We charge a flat monthly fee, based on the size of your network. For that service fee you receive all of the recurring services described below. Consolidated Helpdesk

Our Helpdesk provides your entire staff with a single point of contact for all of your technical support needs, so you can focus on your business. It doesn't matter what the problem is, hardware, software, network, Internet, or whatever, we'll take the call. Let us say Mary has a problem with Word. She doesn't have to bother you with it; she can just call or email the Helpdesk, and we will remotely connect to her PC and fix the problem. Or say that Joe notices that your Internet is down. He can just report it to the Helpdesk. We will confirm the problem and work with your Internet service provider to restore service as quickly as possible.

If we can't fix a problem remotely, we'll come on site to fix it. There's no additional charge, even if it takes us multiple trips and we have to escalate the issue all the way up to our Engineering team to find and fix the root cause.

After hours, our Helpdesk remains on call around the clock for any technical support emergency that may arise. Let us say Cynthia is working late from home on a last-minute presentation, but can't connect to your office network. She can call or email the Helpdesk, as usual; our system will page our on-call technician, who will return her call and begin troubleshooting within thirty minutes. Since we have (secure) remote access to all of our customer networks, we can most likely fix the problem remotely, but if the problem requires an on-site trip to your office, we'll hop in the car and head out.

Network Administration

While our Helpdesk provides you the front-line technical support your staff needs to stay productive, our network administration team works, mostly behind the scenes, to monitor, maintain, and protect your network and business data, so your business keeps running as smoothly as possible. You don't have to lift a finger.

When we first take over responsibility for your network, the first thing we do is secure it. We set up our standard Internet firewall, install our standard anti-virus and anti-spyware software, install patch updates on all your serves and workstations, and establish off-site backups.

Going forward, we maintain your network by performing regular patch updates to your servers, plus periodic audits of your entire network so that, again, we can keep your network and your business healthy and thriving.

Meanwhile, our system continuously monitors your network and alerts us in the event of a problem (e.g., a server outage) or even a potential problem (e.g., server hard drive nearly full). After hours it pages our on-call engineer, and even if it's 2:00 a.m., we'll come on-site to bring a server back up, because if at all possible we want to have your network up and running again by the time you get to work in the morning.

To protect your business data, our off-site backup system automatically backs up your network data to our secure data center every night of the week. You don't have to lift a finger to change tapes or anything. Every morning, we get a report on your backup status, so we can resolve any issues with it. All of our backups are stored on-line in high-capacity, highly redundant storage servers. If you or anyone on your staff accidentally deletes or corrupts a file, they can just call our Helpdesk, who can restore the lost file in a matter of minutes. Even if, heaven forbid, your server crashes completely and has to be fully rebuilt, we will take care of it for you.

Hosting Services

Because your email, domain name, and website hosting are critical to your business and cause frequent technical support hassles, we also provide and support these services for you at no additional charge.

We employ extensive, multi-layered techniques to filter out spam and viruses from your email, and we manage all of your email accounts and aliases for you. We also host your website for no additional charge, and we renew your domain name registration as needed, so you don't have to worry about it.

Technology Purchasing

When it comes time to expand or upgrade or repair your network, we can and prefer to handle all of your technology purchasing for you, so that we can select the appropriate hardware and software for you, in order to control your costs. We apply only a small markup to all purchases to just cover our costs, so you can rest assured that we are not pushing unnecessary hardware at you, just to make a buck. With our reseller arrangements with Dell and many other vendors, we can usually save you a significant amount of money in capital expenditures.

Network Engineering and Integration

Although we have a strong focus on recurring network support and maintenance, our talented engineering team has the skills and diversity to tackle most any expansion or integration project you might want to throw at us, ranging from the most basic server setup to the most advanced network integration project. For all projects, we work with you to define and scope them out, and we then implement them on an hourly basis, providing regular feedback to you on progress.
